A beautiful Poem of my beautiful friend

I remember the day, I met you by chance,
we hung out in the kitchen and I felt like home.
I had found a friend, someone that listened to me
and still remembered every word the next time we met!
Sometimes month would pass, life got so busy,
but whenever we saw each other again,
it was like that first time in the kitchen
We talked, we laughed, never cried...I do that now!
If I would have known last week when I saw you for the last time,
that death will visit you before I will,
would I have taken it for granted that you would be there tomorrow?
What if I would have known, that when we said Good Bye,
that it really was the last hug and the last kiss.
What if I would have known that it would be the last time
we will talk about our loved ones, our hopes, our dreams,
would I have stayed a little longer, and hugged you a little closer?
Now you are in heaven, left all the worries behind,
like so many loved ones with broken hearts.
Your life was too short, you were too young to go!
I miss you, there is a void in my heart,
I lost my beautiful friend!
But the day will come when I will meet you again,
we will hang out in heaven's kitchen
and it will be like the first time we ever met!

I love you girlfriend

Bird Eye View

Bird Eye View!

by Ilona Rosenthal-Payne

I just sat here dreaming,
on my window with a tea,
when I saw something gleaming,
on the branch before me!

I focused my eyes,
on the branch with the game,
that to my surprise,
was beautiful & tame!

I scrolled on my screen,
with the care of a hunter,
I blinked at the scene,
for a second or under!

Then I lifted my view,
back to the trees in the winds,
no feathers in blue,
that carry its wings?

The moral of the story,
the lesson of the dream:
if you get a glimpse of glory,
even small it might seem!

Keep your mind on above,
because in the blink of an eye,
can the moments you love,
have passed you by!

Good Bye!

A window opened, I received the light,
a gift was given, in the dawn of the night.
My world had shattered,
my body had ached,
while the ghost of the past,
had been holding my raft.

I stood there in silence,
not even hearing the sounds
not seeing the people,
nor the crying of the hounds.
I close my eyes,
and say my final Good Byes.
